Black Forest type lantern clock made for the French market, iron cage withgoing and striking trains one after another. 30 hour movement with anchor escapement ( Black Forest strip pallet escapement ) and long pendulum, half and full hour striking on bell, locking-plate striking system, ropes with weights and counterweights. Fayence dial with Arabic hour numerals and quarter indications, Iron hands. Cage marked: F D 561 symbol of a heart.
