French lantern clock ofLouis XIV. baroque style. Forged iron cage with inserted one after another plates of going and striking train. 30 hours one weight endless-chain winding-mechanism with anchor escapement and long pendulum, half and full hour striking on bell – locking plate striking system. Arched iron forged dial with pewter dial chapter ring, pewter baroque style spandrels headpiece decoration of angels with trumpets under a sun. Brass hand sawn hour hand.
