French round ceramic wall clock with brass decorations, so called: baker’s clock ( horloge boulanger ). The red ceramic case is decorated by gold coloured gold leaves. 8 day spring wound movement of Paris type with glass cover, half and full hour rack strike train on bell, Brocot escapement with steel pallets and short fixed pendulum. Enamel dial chapter ring with open centre part allowing to look through the skeleton front plate into the movement. Black iron hands. Back plate marked with an anchor on a shield under a star and FOT leftside and BTÉ rightside. Production no. 2166
