German free-oscillator clock, oak case with carved baroque style decoration parts and turned columns. 8 day square spring wound movement with Graham escapement with adjustable pallets, half and full hour striking on round gong – rack striking system. Etched silvered brass dial with old fashioned Arabic numerals and elaborated centre part showing within floral pattern three grotesque faces. Polished brass lunette with elaborated rims. Ornated steel hands. Under the company’s trade mark – dial with two wings / which ist he trade mark of KIENZLE – the back platine is marked: PRIMA D.R.PATENT 125605 ( Deutsches Reich Patent ), serial number is: 1 MILLION 160550. 48/104 = lenght of pendulum 48 cm beating 104 times/minute.
