French ‚borne type’ green onyx garniture clock set in a mix of Louis XV. Rococo and neo-classical style case with two candleholders each carrying 5 candles. The clock case itself is topped by a stylized urn.

8 day spring wound movement of Paris type with glass cover, half and full hour rack strike train on bell, Brocot escapement with steel pallets.

Steel pendulum suspension spring with fine adjustement from the front of the case by turning the square-end above the dial. Key no. 3.

Blued steel hands.

Movement marked on back plate: A D. MOUGIN DEUX MÉDAILLES and with ist serial number: 46. Look at: TARDY Dictionnaire Des Horlogers Francais, 1971, pages 479/480.
