English bracket clock in Rococo style case, dark oak case with carved wooden feet, case applications and front pediment modelled as scrolling foliage and ‚c’ scrolls ( rocaille ).
Arched silvered brass dial with with Roman hour numerals. Auxiliary dial in the arch indicating ‚SLOW & FAST’for length adjustement of pendulum. Blued steel hands. 8 day double fusee movement ( chain and snake ), anchor escapement. Full hour chiming on bell. Dial and back plate of the movement signed: VINER 255 Regent St. LONDON
